Happy Birthday

So today is your birthday
That's what I've been told
What a wonderful birthday
Now you're one more year old
On your cake there'll be candles
All lighted, it's true
While the whole world is singing
Happy Birthday to you .... Abe

From old friends and true,
From good friends and new,
May good luck go with you,
And happiness too.
Happy Birthday to you .... Abe

Another from Will and Guy

Ferrets

Ferret with only two legs

At the fabric counter of Heelas department store [John Lewis] in Reading, UK, the very pretty Rebecca enquired of the male counter staff, 'I would like to buy this material for a new dress. How much does it cost?'

'Only one kiss per metre, 'replied the young man with a rather unpleasant ferret-like smirk.

'That's OK, 'answered Rebecca, with a glint in her eye, 'I'll take eight metres.'

With expectation and with anticipation written all over his face, the staff member quickly measured out the cloth, wrapped it up, then in a teasing fashion held it out.

Rebecca snapped up the package, pointed to the old, grizzled and toothless fellow standing beside her, smiled, and said, 'My Grandad will pay the bill.'

Sounds like she's one smart cookie.

STOVE TOP Easy Chicken Bake

The soup bakes right in to keep the chicken, veggies and stuffing moist and flavorful. Sour cream seals the deal for a slam-dunk dinnertime.
Time prep: 10 min
Total: 40 min
Servings total: 6 servings, 1-1/3 cups each

What You Need
1 2/3 cups HOT water
1 pkg. (6 oz.) STOVE TOP Stuffing Mix for Chicken
1-1/2 lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces
1 can (10-3/4 oz.) condensed cream of chicken soup
1/3 cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream
1 pkg. (16 oz.) frozen mixed vegetables (carrots, corn, green beans, peas), thawed, drained

HEAT oven to 400ºF.

PREPARE stuffing as directed on package

MIX remaining ingredients in 13x9-inch baking dish sprayed with cooking spray; top with stuffing.

BAKE 30 min. or until chicken is done.

This sounds like a very good recipe for a week-night casserole dinner, served with a small salad, and hot rolls.

Tit for Tat

A guy asked a girl in a library; “Do you mind if I sit beside you”?

The girl answered with a loud voice;
I DON’T WANT TO SPEND THE NIGHT WITH YOU!!!

All the students in the library started staring at the guy and he was embarrassed. He moved away & sat at a near-by table..

After a while, the girl walked quietly to the guy’s table and told him:
“I study psychology and I know what a man is thinking, I guess you felt embarrassed right?”

The guy responded with a loud voice:
"$200 JUST FOR ONE NIGHT!? THAT’S TOO MUCH!!!

And all the people in the library looked at the girl in shock and the guy whispered to her:
“I study Law and I know how to make someone feel guilty"

Heaven's Stairs

The "Stairway" rises "Heaven high"-
The "steps" are dark and steep,
In weariness we climb them
As we stumble, fall and weep...
And many times we falter
Along the "path of prayer"
Wondering if You hear us
And if You really care...
Oh, give us some assurance,
Restore our faith anew,
So we can keep on climbing
The "Stairs of Prayer" to You-
For we are weak and wavering,
Uncertain and unsure,
And only meeting You in prayer
Can help us to endure
All life's trials and troubles
It's sickness, pain and sorrow,
And give us strength and courage
To face and meet tomorrow!
