I know we are on opposite sides of the political fence, but I have three sons...
Our troops need to come home NOW. That would be our most certain way to support them. I support the gift they give us by serving, but I do not support the reasons for us being over there in the first place.
I wonder how many of them believe that what they are doing is worthy of the lives being lost...both on our side and on the other side.
No, we're not on oppostie sides, I don't think we should be there either, BUT the young men and women that are there must think they should be and I don't think we should forget them.
Our Granddaughter was with a group from Ft. Bliss, when they broke down in the sand, they were offered a ride with the group that was captured, but they decided to wait until help came to get them out of the sand and their vehicle started again. She drove the trucks that carried the missles and she helped to set them up. She was there six months, she turned 21 while over there.
I would think there are a lot of them that don't think it is worth while to lose so many lives over there. On the other side, not so sure, if everything you read is true. Since some of them blow up their own people trying to kill our soldiers. Plus some hook themselves up to bombs and everything else and walk into places knowing full well they will also be killed, to get back at our soliders. So I don't know how many of their people feel the same way.
Yes, if I had sons in the age group that would or could go into something like that, I would be very worried.
