This & That, Bits & Pieces

I just noticed this past week-end, things seemed different and that's when I realized I'm feeling more like my old self again. I seem to have my strength back. Not that I've ever had a lot, ha!ha!, but I don't seem to tire out as quickly. Apparently the surgery and the radiation treatments have finally got out of my system. There for a while I was thinking is this the way I'll feel every day from now on?

On a funny note, oldmanlincoln was in the half bath off the kitchen today and I was preparing lunch and I heard him mumbling about something. I asked, what are you talking about and he came out grinning sort of embarrased like and said, you won't believe this, when I got dressed this morning I wasn't paying attention to what I was doing and I put my boxer shorts on backwards. Well I got a mental image of this and thought it was really funny. But why he couldn't tell they were on backwards I don't know. I suppose that would make it a little difficult to use the bathroom.

Have two books waiting for me to read. I like to read true life murder stories, I know, I know, I'm weird. Our one daughter said she thinks I read them to get ideas now to do them in. Ha!Ha!. Actually I read them because I can't understand how the minds work for the people that commit murders. Especially the ones that kill their own children. What triggers them to do something so horrible to another human? I can see if you're fighting for your own life, if someone attacks you, but to deliberately set out to commit a murder, it's beyond anything I could even imagine.

Have one baby bootie I crocheted about a month ago, still haven't finished the mate. So far I have crocheted about 60 pairs, I give them to my Mother who gives them to a group that donates to hospitals and etc. Mom makes little hats, but she doesn't like doing the booties, I prefer the booties, they make up quickly.

We'll be celebrating Melinda (ohplease) and Melissa's (audsmom) birthday this coming Sat. the 7th. Melissa's was the 27th. of June, Melinda's will be the 5th. of July. BigBoy had his the 10th of May and Simplicity had hers the 1st. of June. Our non blogging daughter has hers in March.

Well off to either read or find some good movie on TV, but believe me it's hard to find something good on TV in the Summer time. We had a beautiful day today, even now it's only 74, blue skies, air isn't too bad. Have talked to my Mother this evening and also Audsmom, and talked with non blogging daughter earlier and also Simplicity called from work. So I have talked with all but Melinda and Chris. I'll contact them tomorrow.
