Latest Check-up

Today was my three month check up with the radiologist. She said everything looks great, skin healed nicely. She asked me a couple of questions, then checked the heart and listened to my breathing in and out. Said I should schedule a mammogram for Oct. And since I am seeing the oncologist in Sept. she said to schedule an appointment with her for December. How long she'll want to see me, I don't know, unless it's about every three months for the first year. But the radiation treatments were finished up around the 15th. of April.

Tomorrow I go in for blood work and a physical with my family doctor. I need to tell him about my allergies, they have been terrible this past week or longer. Apparently it's the ragweed. But I need something more then Benadryl. Even if I stay in doors with the AC going, I get stuffed up, eyes water and run, nose runs, I have sneezing fits, sometimes I even get to coughing, it's no fun. I use to be this way a lot, but once I started allergy shots, it did finally clear up. Never to the point they were gone completely, but what an improvement over what I did have. I use to get three shots a week, finally was able to get it down to three shots every three weeks. I just might have to start doctoring for them again. I was allergic to everything, all different types of mold, dust, weeds, trees, grasses, pollens, you name it. And of course since all houses have some mold and dust, I couldn't escape it. In other words if you know what it's like, when you're coming down with either a sinus infection or a head cold, then you have some idea what it's like with allergies.

Well enough of my complaining, compared to what some people have wrong with them, or what they might be going through, I really have it pretty nice.

I'm just hoping we get a little rain. Going to go in and crohet some more on the baby afghan I am making. You all have a good afternoon.
