VISIT TO THE KNEE DOCTOR

It went great. The x-rays of the knees shows there is still cartilage there. Does not show that much arthritis either. So he told me to see how it feels in about three months, after the New Year, if it starts to hurt again, when it's about 50% as bad as the first time, to call him, he will do an MRI to make sure there isn't any tear in the cartilage. But I'm definitely NOT a candidate for knee surgery at this time. Yeah!! Now I can breathe easy. I was dreading the thought that I might need a knee replacement.

Now I have my mammogram this coming Monday the 26th., then the next Monday Dec. 3rd. Abe will have his first colonoscopy, then the following Tuesday Dec. 11th I have blood work at 8am, then at 11 I go see my oncologist for my three month check up and the next day I go back to see the radiologist for a four month check up. I'm hoping that will be my last visit with her. She basically does the same thing the oncologist does, and I think it's rather foolish to be seeing two doctors for the same thing. In fact she even told me that herself. I'll have to remind her, since she told me in May, I would only need to see her probably one more time and that was in Aug. I have a feeling I will be seeing the onocologist every three months until I am off the pill called Femara, that I will be taking until 2011.

But needless to say, I AM VERY, VERY HAPPY ABOUT THE KNEE.

LOL... You tell him Patty.

Great news about the knees... and I hope all goes well with the other visit for you both.. I completely forgot I needed to have my blood checked this morning at 8.30 in the Anticoag Clinic.. I have to have it every two weeks at the moment. I will phone and say sorry as soon as I've done this..

Patty I had some great feedback from the Kiddies Recipes I sent by
e-mail yesterday... I was sniggering all night at one of them..
You certainly set off a chain reaction of laughter in the Manchester area of England last night.
