GOOD AFTERNOON (late afternoon)

Busy, busy, busy, first off, left to go grocery shopping around 8:30am. Came home put away food, except for any canned items, then we got back in the car and took off for Richmnond, In. We have a $50.00 gift certificate to MCL cafeteria. So since the temp was a little warmer and the sun was shining, we decided to have lunch out.

I had some delicious liver and onions, mashed potatoes with gravy and green beans along with a hot roll. Took our time eating, then drove back to Ohio, about a 20 mile drive and took State Route 127 into a town called Eaton, Oh. We stopped at a nursing home called VanCrest on Park Ave and visited with Abe's sister and brother-in-law, stopped to see my one Aunt also in there, and then dropped by to meet Abe's nieces husband whom we had never met before. My Aunt, my Mother's sister has emphysema bad, she's 77 and on oxygen.

Abe's sister is losing her sight, her husband can no longer help take care of her, so they both decided to go into a rest home, she's 82 and he's 84 or 85. His nephew is around 63. He's had 11 strokes this past year, triple by-pass surgery, gall bladder surgery and now he has two brain aneurysms that they can do nothing about. Abe's neice and her husband just moved back here from the state of Washington about a year ago. He was in bad health when they flew him back, but all of this has happened since he arrived in Ohio.

We got back home around 4:00 pm, this is the first I've had my computer on all day. While checking my e-mail, I found this from a friend. It's a very cute ad, she said of course you can't order anything from them and it's in Dutch, but it's one of the most clever ads that I have ever seen. What do you think? Also give it a second or two to load and start.

Dear Patty ~~ You sure had a busy day with visits to lots of relatives I like the sound of your lunch and I must get some liver on Tuesday. Only like it once in a while, but haven't had it for ages. Glad you liked Brother Michael and his singing. My daughter was 48 today, we spoke by phone because she lives a very long way away. You have quite a few birthdays in March, so I hope they all have a great birthday. Take care, my friend. Love, Merle.

I wonder why somebody in this country doesn't do something like this? Super ad.

That was truly "clever"! I'm with Abe --why can't we have clever ads instead of all the suggestive and really stupid ones!!

I will go back and watch again!!
Too cute.

I'm back again...you have the best blogs and your friends send you the neatest things. I'm with your oldman and Wanda, our commercials and ads should be better. Why there wasn't even a good commercial during the high price superbowl time.

I have read more of your blog now after visiting a second time and may I say, you are a inspiration to all women and cancer survivors.
