Turn around

Today is our baby's 35th. Birthday

Where are you going, my little one, little one,
Where are you going, my baby, my own?
Turn around and you're two,
Turn around and you're four,
Turn around and you're a young girl going out of my door.
Turn around, turn around,
Turn around and you're a young girl going out of my door. Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Where are you going, my little one, little one,
Little dirndls and petticoats, where have you gone?
Turn around and you're tiny,
Turn around and you're grown,
Turn around and you're a young wife with babes of your own.
Turn around, turn around,
Turn around and you're a young wife with babes of your own

Please go here and wish her a Happy Birthday.

Patty, that was beautifully done.As your other daughter Melinda said, a great trip down memory lane.

Melissa, you have a very talented Mom. And Happy Birthday! Enjoy your thirties. I think they were my very favorite decade.

Life goes on and leaves us old folks behinder and behinder. We lose out on a lot I guess but then it happens. I always look on my kids at a certain age and it usually is small or younger. It is hard to think that Audrey will be graduating from high school one of these days and I wonder if we will be here to see that day. I think about things like that too much.

Thank you Patty for "singing" the Dinah Shore song on my blog! Mmmwahh! That's a big wet Dinah Shore kiss for you!

What a great picture show your mom gave us. Our baby Jill is 37. I love your mom's blog, and always enjoy the comments you leave for her. Love the last picture at the table ~~ just precious.

What a wonderful post! She was such a beautiful child! For my son's birthday in May, I didn't have my photo albums here as they are at my daughter's, so I just posted one photo of him as a baby and then wrote a letter to him. He's my youngest and was 42 in May! MY daughter is 43! The years do fly by, don't they? I feel like your husband does...I think too much about if I will be here to see this or that when it happens....

I did stop by Melissa's blog to wish her a happy birthday. Gee, to be that young again, huh? LOL But, unfortunately, we all have to grow old....

I find your blog to be such fun! We all need that laugh every day that you give us! I know I sure do!!!

Have a great Sunday!
