A letter from God!

This is God

To: YOU
Date: TODAY
From: GOD
Subject: YOURSELF
Reference: LIFE

This is God. Today I will be handling All of your problems for you. I do Not need your help. So, have a nice day.
I love you.
P.S. And, remember...If life happens to deliver a situation to you that you cannot handle, do Not attempt to resolve it yourself! Kindly put it in the SFGTD (something for God to do) box. I will get to it in MY TIME. All situations will be resolved, but in My time, not yours.

Once the matter is placed into the box, do not hold onto it by worrying about it. Instead, focus on all the wonderful things that are present in your life now.

If you find yourself stuck in traffic, don't despair. There are people in this world for whom driving is an unheard of privilege.

Should you have a bad day at work; think of the man who has been out of work for years.

Should you despair over a relationship gone bad; think of the person who has never known what it's like to love and be loved in return.

Should you grieve the passing of another weekend; think of the woman in dire straits, working twelve hours a day, seven days a week to feed her children.

Should your car break down, leaving you miles away from assistance; think of the paraplegic who would love the opportunity to take that walk.

Should you notice a new gray hair in the mirror; think of the cancer patient in chemo who wishes she had hair to examine.

Should you find yourself at a loss and pondering what is life all about, asking what is my purpose? Be thankful. There are those
who didn't live long enough to get the opportunity.

Should you find yourself the victim of other people's bitterness, ignorance, smallness or insecurities; remember, things could be worse. You could be one of them!

Should you decide to send this to a friend; Thank you. You may have touched their life in ways you will never know!

Now, you have a nice day.
God

Now for a little funny side of religion.

Catholic Shampoo...

Shopping in a local grocery store, two nuns happened to pass by the beer, wine, and liquor section.

One asked the other if she would like a beer.

The second nun answered that, indeed, it would be very nice to have a beer, but that she would feel uncomfortable about purchasing it.

The first nun replied that she would handle that without a problem. She picked up a six-pack and took it to the cashier.

The cashier had an obviously surprised look, so the nun said, 'This is for washing our hair.'

Without blinking an eye, the cashier reached under the counter and put a package of pretzel sticks in the bag with the beer.

'The curlers are on me.'

I remember putting beer in my hair, don't remember why anymore...Have you ever tried the favored beer? I don't like the taste of regular beer, but I do like the favored beer...

Love the God letter! That joke floored me! I am Catholic and absolutely LOVED it!!!

I have worked all day here and need to do some blog reading tonight...whenever I get done working. Busy time of the month for me and more days like today before deadline hits me!

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I am addicted to this blogging! It is killing me that I can't just sit here and read blogs all day! I have stayed up all night a lot of nights and read til I got caught up, but can't tonight as I have to take my daughter's cat, Sweet Pea, to Greenville oncologist tomorrow for lung x-rays for her cancer checkup. I really do love to sit up all night and read blogs and then next morning, I am all caught up! But not for long! LOL

Hope you and Abe had a good weekend! My daughter was here yesterday, so today I have been alone. Still in PJ's!

Dear Patty ~~ Great post and I had both of these items in my to post file. I will put them on after a while. The video was quite good too.
Thanks for your comments and I am glad you enjoyed the jokes. The bird feeder my daughter sent me is on my front porch at present, so I don't want birds in there, but it is an ornament at the moment. Photos next post. I hope you are getting some good sleeps these days. I am. Take care,, my friend, Love, Merle.
