Sad Stories

Bill, Jim and Scott were at a convention together and were sharing a large suite on the top of a 75-story skyscraper.

After a long day of meetings, they were shocked to hear that the elevators in their hotel were broken and they would have to climb 75 flights of stairs to get to their room.

Bill said to Jim and Scott, "Let's break the monotony of this unpleasant task by concentrating on something interesting. I'll tell jokes for 25 flights, Jim can sing songs for the next 25 flights and Scott can tell sad stories for the rest of the way."

At the 26th floor, Bill stopped telling jokes and Jim began to sing. At the 51st floor Jim stopped singing and Scott began to tell sad stories.

"I will tell my saddest story first," he said.

"I left the room key in the car!"

Just Saturday, Tony and I drove about two miles to do some cleaning and when we got there, he said I forgot the key...we just had to drive the two miles back home and get the key. No climbing stairs...;)

Oh dear! That's too funny. I find that I am already forgetting things. I choose to believe it is because I am too busy and have too much going on in my life... it certainly CANNOT be because I'm getting older! Right??
Thanks for stopping by my site today and for your sweet comment about my dad...and for the wonderful story of your motorcycle adventure. I enjoyed that! And, you read my mind when you said "No, it wasn't Abe". I was wondering.

Take care!
PS - I answered your question in a comment on my post,.. but so that you don't have to go back to check it - My Dad was 73 when he passed. His birthday is this month - he would have been 89. I'll be doing a special post for him on the 25th. Hugs! Cindy

Oi Veh! Did they chase Scott all the way down, threatening to harm him? LOL.

Hope you had a good day, Patty.

Good night!
