How true.

The Images of A Mom

4 YEARS OF AGE My Mommy can do anything!

8 YEARS OF AGE My Mom knows a lot! A whole lot!

12 YEARS OF AGE My Mother doesn't really know quite everything.

14 YEARS OF AGE Naturally, Mother doesn't know that, either!

16 YEARS OF AGE Mother? She's hopelessly old-fashioned.

18 YEARS OF AGE That old woman? She's way out of date!

25 YEARS OF AGE Well, she might know a little bit about it.

35 YEARS OF AGE Before we decide, let's get Mom's opinion.

45 YEARS OF AGE Wonder what Mom would have thought about it?

65 YEARS OF AGE Wish I could talk it over with Mom. ..

Boy does this ring true. Kids know it all from an early age and end up wishing they could ask mom or dad about something when mom and dad are gone. Some cultures are different.

Children have a lot more respect for the elderly and did in Japan when I first got there but in 3 short years they stopped or lost most of what they had for centuries -- respect for teachers and parents.

So very true! With my 17 year old I think the worst was between 12 and 15. He is so much better now and even pleasant to live with! LOL....but still not thinking I know everything, like I did when he was five. ;)

That is so cute...I had to laugh when one day my daughter told me, "Boy, Mommy I scared myself today." I asked, "How?" She said, "I started to sound just like you."

Not a day goes by that I don't wish I could get Mother's opinion on something...or just share my heart. Oh how I miss her.......

Hugs,
Diane

This always makes me cry. (But in a good way.) I am going to call my mom right this second and tell her I love her!
