Hi everyone. Just wanted to let everyone know that he was taken into the hospital early this morning. When he first woke up around 3:30 am, he didn't notice that anything was that much different, he got himself a cup of coffee and went to the office. About 15 mins later he came out to me and said, I feel like I can't breathe, I asked if he had used his inhalers, he said he had, then I asked if he had used his emergency one, so he tried that one again. Still no help. I called 911 they were here by 4:00 am, and took him in to the hospital. Here his left lung that had collapsed in 1981 had collapsed again. The lung doctor came in this morning and said a thoracic surgeon will come in tomorrow and talk with him. They want him to rest today. Apparently if you have a collapsed lung, and have blebs on it like he does, you run a 50% chance of it collapsing again. The second time it collapses, you then run an 80% chance of it happening again. So that's how it stands for now. I know I have already posted a few days ahead, but I will try to post something each day so you will all know what's going on.
All prayers are welcome.
