Lessons

Time

Time is an equal opportunity employer. Each human being has exactly the same number of hours and minutes every day.

Rich people can't buy more time. Scientists can't invent new minutes. And you can't save time to spend on another day.

Even so, time is amazingly fair and forgiving. No matter how much time you've wasted in the past, you still have an entire tomorrow.

Success depends upon using it wisely -- by planning and setting priorities. Time is worth more than money, and by killing time, we are killing our own chances of success.

Please don’t let time slip away. And please don’t even let it inch away, but really make the most of it. When you go on a trip, you can often remember each day in detail because you valued each minute away and planned it well. But all too often, when you are at home, school or work, it just seems to go by without realizing it. So ask yourself, "What did I do last week?" If you can’t answer the question, maybe it’s time to focus more on doing valuable things with your time.

I wonder how far we could get without clocks or watches? I also wonder if anybody has tried it. This makes an interesting post and a good one to just read.

Very interesting post. Makes you take notice of the minutes that slip by. I'll have to pay more attention.
Thank you!

Well said! And with the turning of the clocks back this week-end, I don't know if I'm running ahead or behind time!

Time is a factor which rules this world....rules our lifes....gives us joy.....gives us sweet memories.....also gives us pain and yet they say time is the best healer.....we never have the time...but again we can MAKE time for what ever we want to.

I once worked with a young woman who wrote down in a book every single thing she did, every day.

She could tell you everything she had done but I often used to think if she spent less time writing it down, she could have done more! I never told her though!

Time flies when you're having fun, but it drags when you're not. Or so it seems. LOL.

Great post, Patty.

Good night.

A valuable lesson, if we would but learn it.

Dear Patty ~~ Great post reminding us not to let time slip away from us. I am sure I could use my time better but just muddle through. Glad you liked the story of Shay. Thos kids from both teams were great to let the win go to make the boy a happy memory. I hope the week is going well and continues to. Take care, my friend, Love, Merle.
