Abe's suppose to come home tomorrow

They removed the chest tube this morning. They now have him on one liter of oxygen. Tomorrow they plan on removing it all together. I walked around the hospital block, if that's what you want to call it, with him. He did ok. He was suppose to walk at least three times, but yesterday they never got to him to walk him and he's not suppose to go alone. He's still pretty weak, and I keep telling him, it's going to take a while to get his energy and strength back. But walking slowly and deep breathing will help. I'm sure once he's home he's going to get on the computer for a few minutes. Again, thanks for all the prayers and well wishes.

It's amazing how quickly our health can go downhill.
I'm still recouperating from a health problem a year and a half ago.
I'm still sending up prayers for you.
Tell Abe to take it slow and easy.
Don't over do it.
Thanks for the update.

Thanks so much for this recent update. I'll be thinking of you both tomorrow. I am sure it is going to take a while for Abe to get his energy back. All baby steps, it will come eventually.

Hey Patty, I just want you to know that some of us in Oregon are praying for a quick recovery for Abe and the strength for you to deal with it all.
Best wishes!

Obviously well on the mend, and with you around to walk with him he'll go from strength to strength.

Hi Patty I was so sorry to read, that Abe was in hospital, when I came back yesterday from my journey to Egypt. I am glad, however that he's coming home now and I hope that he hasn't got much pain either. In Egypt there was no possibility to go on internet unless you had your own laptop with you. We had a full programm and in the last week 40 of the 47 people in our group were sick with a nasty, aggressive form of food poisoning, which still leaves us very unstable.

Argh, I haven't been by in a while and I didn't even know this was happening! I'm glad Abe is coming home, it's always better to be comfortable in your own house than stuck in the hospital. :-)

That is good news!!! I'm sure he can't wait to get out of there and back home!!! It really does take time to get one's strength back after lying around like that. I'm sure he's been having blog withdrawal since he's been there! LOL Looking forward to welcoming him back to blogland and also HOME SWEET HOME!!!

Also, I imagine you are tired from the running back and forth, too. I did that for 13 weeks straight with my mom...never missed a day! I was worn out! It gets old very fast. I spent about 14 hours a day with her, and some nights I even slept there when she was so bad or going into surgery early the next morning. I lugged my satchel and also my laptop so I could work from her room, and also lugged my heavy purse! It was a verrrry looooong walk from parking garage to her room! LOL

I checked Melinda's blog first for a new update....I LOVE her little kitty!!!
