Just received

An Award

Many thanks to Nanny for giving me this award. When my husband convinced me to start one, I didn't have any idea if anyone would stop by or not. Was very surprised when I started receiving visitors. Have made friends with people in England, Holland, Australia, and India plus US and a few other places. It's fun and interesting to read others blogs.

The goal of this award is :

To be passed on to new blogs or friends that you've discovered.

1)As a dedication for those who love blogging and love to encourage friendships through blogging.
2)To seek the reasons why we all love blogging.
3)Put the award in one post as soon as you receive it.
4)Don't forget to mention the person who gave you the award.
5)Answer the awards question by writing the reason why you love blogging.
6)Tag and distribute the award to as many people as you like.
7)Don't forget to notify the award receivers and put their links in your post.

The reason I love blogging is:

I love to help bring a smile to someones face, so I try to post jokes more than anything else. I do like to post an interesting article that I might have read, from the Newspaper, give sites to see recipes, sometimes I talk about my family and my hobby which is crocheting.

I would like to pass this award on to all my new friends who have warmed my heart, inspire me with their talents and start my day with a smile.

I hope you all have a good day! Rainy and cool here this morning, it's 49, and I'm still cold and damp from standing at the bus stop with our Granddaughter. I know she's probably cold and damp also. Which isn't too good, since today is their second day of State Testing. Perhaps they have the heat on low to help dry the kids. Even an umbrella didn't keep the legs and feet dry.

You have been successful with your blog and people like it a lot. It gives you something to do now and you no longer have to chase me around the house with a skillet.

First, Abe's comment is a hoot! LOL!

Second, thank you for stopping by my blog. Sent my niece an email about Clarence Wirrig. She won't know the details but she has learned from her husband Jeff Wirrig that he is related to Clarence Wirrig. By the way Jeff Wirrig used to be the mayor of the little village of Bradford.

Third and last but not least I always enjoy visiting your blog too. It is always very positive and uplifting or humorous. You deserve this award. I should try to keep my blog more positive but every now and then I want to rant about something going on in the world.

Congratulations on your award Patty, it is richly deserved. I hope you warmed up some and your granddaughter did well in her exams. It's been raining all day here also and after the low 90s down to the mid 50s, from sunshine and warmth to clouds and rain, what a difference. I feel a bit chilled to the bone myself.

Sorry I'm late. My laptop has been acting up this evening, and I just got it going again. Time for a new one, real soon!

What a lovel award to a lovely friend who does bring smiles and warms our hearts as well. Congratulations, Patty on a well deserved award!

It just started raining here, but it's warm out there. Hope your granddaughter didn't get too chilly. It's not a good time to catch a cold.

Have a good night, Patty.
