Old Post Cards

Pretty Neat Place To Visit

Old Postcards

I'm going to visit my Mom today. I figure I need a little time off. LOL Yesterday I grocery shopped, mowed the front yard, stopped and fixed a bite of lunch, washed up the few breakfast and lunch dishes, mixed up some slaw for dinner/supper with the oil vinegar dressing, then went out and mowed the backyard. Came in and did a few other little chores, fixed a spaghetti dinner/supper for five of us, one daughter brought along a Cheesecake Factory cheesecake she got at Sam's Club, and it was delicious. So that means I won't be on the computer much again today. So hopefully I will be catching up on Saturday. We had a beautiful day, nice breeze, sun was out all day, and temp got up to around 65.

This is another beautiful day. Melissa called about 10:15 to see if you had left yet. I guess she didn't want anything else.

Hope you have lots of fun with the mom today and with Becky too.

Such wonderful places, so different from where I have lived. The Hamlet of Gordon, Ohio is where I was born and raised and it is how small hamlets used to be and this one still exists.

Gosh, you've been busy. You need some time off. Hope you had a lovely visit with your mother. I worked in my yard today, too, but got to come in and sit down between mowings.

Wishing you a nice weekend.

I hope you had a wonderful day at your Mom's. You certainly deserve a day off, Patty.

We had 80 degrees today. I went to some flea markets and Thrift Shops with Eileen, then to lunch. Got home in time for Greg to arrive. He cut a lot of grass, front, back and the field. I fixed him a nice dinner. Tomorrow, we'll go to the cabin on the river, to clean it and get it ready for use again. He goes home tomorrow night. He is such a big help, and I'm lucky to have him. Our 80s will continue into the next week. Getting warm fast now.

Have a lovely weekend!

Oops I nearly missed that post card website. It's wonderful.

I've been looking at the old New York Ellis Island ones and the homes of old film stars in California. I could spend hours here, I love looking at old postcards. Thanks for letting us know. It's on my favourites now for future browsing.

And you asked me if I ever rested??? You are busier than me! I have been laying low all week....read my new post I did earlier tonight....I have had one awful week!!! But life goes on....But seriously, I have been resting all week....until yesterday. You have probably noticed that I haven't been sending any emails this week, either. I try and check out Facebook to get my free cash or credits each day...ha-ha

Glad you got to visit your mother. Wish I had my mom yet...
The old gal across from me died Sunday or Monday of this week...she was 88 or 89. Another lady up the street was found dead 3 weeks ago...she was 63! I thought I was going to be #3 Tuesday night! Check out my blog...last paragraph, anyhow.

Your spaghetti dinner made me hungry!!! LOL Italian is my favorite over everything else!!!
