Life explained.

Two wolves.

This is the best I have ever heard life explained!!

Photobucket

Two wolves.

One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people. He said, ' My son, the battle is between two ' wolves ' inside us all..

One is Evil. - It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.

The other is Good. - It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith. '

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather: ' Which wolf wins? '

The old Cherokee simply replied, ' The one you feed. '

Sometimes it is a balancing act. It is hard at times to feed the good one but not a wise choice. I don't know what I mean today, my head got screwed on wrong this morning. Have a great weekend.

Boy that was a dead ringer and so true. We all have our habits and some are hard to break. It is often more difficult to forgive than forget and while we should forget we shouldn't until we ask for forgiveness.

We all tend to feed those things that give us pleasure as in sex and food and we tend to gloss over those things that are good for us like a smile, friendly wave and a kiss on the cheek.

Makes sense to me. Feed the good wolf and life will be good to you. A very nice story.

Have a good night, Patty.

Patty ~ I've heard this story with wolves, dogs, and horses... but the moral is the same....the one you feed is the one that is going to win...
