One day he arrives home looking downcast.
"That's it," he tells his wife. "I'm giving up golf. My eyesight has gotten so bad that once I've hit the ball, I can't see where it went."
His wife sympathizes and makes him a cup of tea. As they sit down, she says, "Why don't you take my brother with you and give it one more try."
"That's no good," sighs Arthur. "Your brother's a hundred and three. He can't help."
"He may be a hundred and three," says the wife, "but his eyesight is perfect."
So the next day, Arthur heads off to the golf course with his brother-in-law. He tees up, takes an almighty swing, and squints down the fairway.
He turns to the brother-in-law. "Did you see the ball?"
"Of course I did!" replies the brother-in-law. "I have perfect eyesight."
"Where did it go?" asks Arthur.
"I don't remember."

Oh great fun Patty, as we say over here 'the blind leading the blind'.
Hope all is well with you and Abe. No need to ask what he does all day... another blog on the go!
Love Granny
LOL...a good one Patty. Sounds like my girlfriend and I. I have poor eyesight and she has poor hearing, we were a riot when we shopped together. I think we did more laughing then shopping.
That's a good one! Thanks for cheering up my day!
The brother was exactly the same as I am.
:))
This is funny. And I can just picture the two of them.
Pick a Peck of Pixels is my photo blog with a difference -- I am hoping you are the difference. For this blog to be famous and me written about in the Wall Street Journal like I was in the seventies, will require more than a couple of dozen hits a day. If 10,000 visitors leave comments then it is instantly famous and your comments are part of history. Lets Make History.
Hilarious....good one,you know Patty its become a routine for my husband now asking me updates of jokes from your blog...thanks for the laughs.
Great joke! I kaughed 5 minutes in a row. Do you have more? And about the legend of Dracula... Yes, it probably started in this castle. All those movies have a base no?
Tee hee hee..... Very cute!
Thanks for the visit, Patty. The dogs had plenty of food and shade for the cage was very large. No I couldn't live in a place like that. I prefer a small house!
Hahaha! Well, at least they're still out there, trying.
Have a nice evening, Patty.
