* Being told to "Think Outside the Box" when I'm in the darn box all day!
* Not being able to check E-mail attachments without first seeing who is behind me.
* Fabric cubicle walls do not offer much protection from any kind of gun fire.
* That nagging feeling that if I just press the right button, I will get a piece of cheese.
* Lack of roof rafters for the noose.
* My walls are too close together for my hammock to work right.
* 23 power cords, 1 outlet.
* Prison cells are not only bigger, they have beds.
* When tours come through, I get lots of peanuts thrown at me.
* Can't slam the door when you quit and walk out.
* If you talk to yourself it causes all the surrounding cubicle inhabitants to pop their heads over the wall and say "What? I didn't hear you."
* If your boss calls you and aske you to come into his office for a minute the walk there is like a funeral march... people hand you tissues as you pass and refuse to make eye contact.
* You always have the feeling that someone is watching you, but by the time you turn to look they're gone.

Dear Patty ~~ These were all good
but I think the last one got my vote
I am glad you are enjoying Dancing with the stars - it's a good program.
You work hard Patty. mowing and flipping mattresses and cooking which is harder when some like things and others don't etc etc.
Take good care of yourself my friend
Sleep well and enjoy the end of the week and the weekend. Love, Merle.
If work is work, be sure it won't work.
Haha, cute... and oh I'm so glad you are are survivor of breast cancer. My paternal Gramma had it,and survived... but none on my maternal side had it.
Creepy feeling! Big brother is watching over my shoulder.
Hope all is well with you both.
Love Granny
Thankfully I've never had to work in a cubicle. But I've had offices that have been as small!
Enjoy your day.
Sunny :)
I love them all! I get those feelings sometimes. Wish you the best!
Never worked in a cubicle either, thank goodness, and my computer is in the sun room, and I look out on the pond and field. No enclosed feeling at all. Which is just the way I like it. Not that I spend that much time at the computer anyway.
Have a good night, Patty. It's raining here. Should be good sleeping weather.
Renie
Been a long time since I was in one but always wondered why people thought those silly walls kept their phone conversations secret.
I liked all of this post, but really liked the last one best.
Yes, and no privacy at all!
Everyone knows your business. But....if you get a "bad" phone call, everyone is there to offer support. It has it's good and bad.
Ha! Ha!...All true! I have a cubical at work and it is so small I almost feel Claustrophobic in it. One of the ladies I work with has a picture her child drew of a window hanging in her cube. SHe even made little curtains to go around it. She tell's everyone the only thig wrong with it is that she can't open it and jump out!
