Have a Blessed Thanksgiving

Something to think about

We are so spoiled today and Blessed at the same time. I hope we all will take time to look at the pictures and realize what our Great Grandparents, Grandparents and Parents lived through.

AFTER YOU LOOK AT THE PICTURES - READ THE CAPTION AT THE BOTTOM! WE ALL NEED A REMINDER.

America...during the years of 1935 - 1939

AND WE THINK WE'VE GOT IT BAD! Makes complaining about no cell service, high gasoline prices, not enough cable channels, et al, seem a bit ludicrous. I am reminded to be grateful for what I do have...HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO EVERYONE

Yep, we have it good. I wouldn't want to relive the depression years by any means. But it made those folks resiliant and self supporting.
Happy Thanksgiving to all the Lincolns from all the Shipleys.

We certainly do have it good today. I remember years of war, when we didn't and feel especially thankful to be in the good old USA, celebrating with loved ones. I hope your Thanksgiving was great, Patty. I am stuffed and happy!

Have a good weekend. My company leaves on Saturday, but until then, we have a lot more happy togetherness to enjoy.

That time was very hard for American people and it seems the history comes again. We can watch on the french Tv some very bas news from America, about people who lost their job, car, and house.

Having everything you want isn't always good for you. A little hardship tempers you. Not that you would wish that level of hardship on anyone nowadays.

The photographs are amazing. They make you count your blessings.
