Does this sound familiar?

One, Only One!

How many women with MENOPAUSE does it take to change a light bulb?

Woman's Answer:

One! ONLY ONE!!!! And do you know WHY?

Because no one else in this house knows HOW to change a light bulb! They don't even know that the bulb is BURNED OUT!!

They would sit in the dark for THREE DAYS before they figured it out. And, once they figured it out, they wouldn't be able to find the #&%!* light bulbs despite the fact that they've been in the SAME CABINET for the past 17 YEARS!

But if they did, by some miracle, actually find them, 2 DAYS LATER, the chair they dragged to stand on to change the STUPID light bulb would STILL BE IN THE SAME SPOT!!!!! AND UNDERNEATH IT WOULD BE THE WRAPPER THE FREAKING LIGHT BULBS CAME IN!!! BECAUSE NO ONE EVER PICKS UP OR CARRIES OUT THE GARBAGE!!!!

IT'S A WONDER WE HAVEN'T ALL SUFFOCATED FROM THE PILES OF GARBAGE THAT ARE A FOOT DEEP THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE HOUSE!! IT WOULD TAKE AN ARMY TO CLEAN THIS PLACE!

AND DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON WHO CHANGES THE TOILET PAPER ROLL !!

I'm sorry. What was the question?

Your post really made me laugh. The other day I was in Home Depot, I was going to buy 40W light bulbs, my husband said that we had plenty at home. When I turned on the light in the den, last night, the bulb blew...I bet you can guess the rest! LOL

How funny... we are working in the rental home these last couple of days, and everytime I say we need this or that, hubby says I have it in the garage, that was his answer last time I asked about the same thing. Today, I guess my PMS kicked in, because, when we got home he put the things in the truck for next time we are at the house. LOL...

I have changed the toilet paper roll (a lot) and usually reach around and bring out the plastic wrapped package and take a roll out and put it on the dryer -- just getting ready for you to change it.

I have been a woman with menopause for a very longtime. I Change the light bulbs, carry the garbages outside in the street and put a new paper roll in the toilet everytime it is necessary, and I do other things.
But my Chéri do the same sometimes.

Hahahahaa...when we had small children I would put the tp on so the paper came out from behind--that way the little ones wouldn't take it into thier pointy little heads to unroll it all onto the floor (which did actually happen).

But now that the kids are older, I discovered after all these years that my husband prefers the paper coming over the TOP of the roll...

Ah, well. It's another way I can say "I love you," to my darling.

That's funny!
Not long ago, The Captain changed a light bulb. Bad thing is...he stuffed the empty light bulb box back in the cabinet. *sigh*
