Oct. 22, 9:36 p.m. EDT --Moon

Full Hunters' Moon
With the leaves falling and the deer fattened, it's now time to hunt. Since the fields have been reaped, hunters can ride over the stubble, and can more easily see the fox, as well as other animals, which can be caught for a thanksgiving banquet after the harvest.

You mentioned not being able to smell on my post. Could I interest you in a lovely cat with bad gas? :))
Hope those weather pains go away, at least so you can enjoy the weekend.

Both Prince and I are hunter, but of late we only fatten the deer with corn and watch them play. Did you know goat meat is the healthiest meat to consume. My Grandpa must have known that as he always had at least one goat for meat each year. The Christian men can cook meat better than any women in the family. Peace

I think we have one tonight. It's the first moon we've been able to see in weeks!

I know hunting eliminates over population of animals, but I could not shot one.
