Busy, busy day!

Started off the day, taking Audrey to school and then went straight to the grocery for the weekly shopping. Was done and on my way home by 9am. Put away groceries, called daughter to see how she's feeling (the one that had the kidney surgery). Called to order more supplies for Abe to use his home testing for his Coumadin.

Rested for about an hour, at the computer, trying to answer e-mails and etc. Then went out and mowed the yard. Came in fixed a bite of lunch for the two of us, did up dishes from breakfast and lunch, then cleaned some strawberries for supper tonight. Bought fruit dip all ready made up from the Deli. After that I wrote about four checks, balanced the check book, came close, bank says they have about $34.00 more then me, and I'm not even going to try to find that, as long as the bank has a little more, I'm happy. LOL Now if I were short, compared to bank, I would have to find the mistake.

Picked up Audrey from school, then we ran by the bank and post-office, came home, cleaned bird doo doo off the front of the garage door. We have dark green, and it shows up really plain, plus it takes the color out if you don't clean it off. We don't even have a tree out there, I guess they just hit it as they fly over. Came in and went out back to clean out the bird bath and then filled it with fresh water, along with several dishes for the birds and small animals to drink from.

Now I am resting again before I even think about supper. Tonight it will probably be spaghetti and garlic bread, plus a small salad, and of course fresh strawberries and dip. Daughter that doesn't eat meat will be here for supper, so I only have to worry about fixing a piece of something for Abe, which will probably be a lean hamburger. Because the daughter and granddaughter that are living here are like me, I can have a meal without meat. A friend of the one daughter gave her some salsa at work yesterday, that she made, so if they want a snack in the evening they can have that with some corn chips.

Granddaughter has to go for her sax lesson tonight. So that's how my day has gone. Real excitement huh? LOL!

All you giving to others, is probably why you have that supernatural energy. There is a verse that says we will mount up like eagles, and not faint...You are living proof!!!

Love you Patty...Glad you are smart enought to take little rests in between.

My goodness Patty! I have never in my whole life done the grocery shopping by 9:00 a.m. You've just crammed three days work into one. And I was just congratulating myself for having written a blog, washed a quilted bedspread and visited the shelter kittens all in one day! Make the most of your coffee or tea breaks.

Goodness, you are a busy lady. Seems a shame that the birds you water and feed show such little gratitude but maybe in birddom, that is like leaving a calling card to thank you.
Hope your daughter is still doing well and recovering nicely.

You have some energy there Patty! I don't even get up for 9 o'clock most days since I retired unless I'm looking after the grandchildren during school holidays. I'm just not a morning person, I don't get going until lunchtime and I don't go to bed before midnight! Usually between 1 & 2 am. My husband's the opposite, always up about 6 am and asleep on the settee by 6pm!

Take care and don't burn yourself out!

You really are a very busy Lady Patty! I've got no classes today so I cleaned my room and helped at our Hardware Store. It's so hard to do the chores right now since it's so hot here in the Philippines, it says it's 36 degrees C but it feals like 42! :( Hope the weather's fine out there!
