Hard to Believe

It's March 24th. all ready.

Today I have to be at Sam North for a cat scan of the lungs, to make sure the sarcoidosis I had some time ago isn't coming back.

Family doctor did complete blood work up, over a week ago. She said I should have been in sooner for it, but there was no reason to go to the doctor and they didn't tell me to come back in so many months, so I didn't.

She also started me on some medication for my high blood sugar. We've been playing around with it for about ten years and I've always seemed to be able to handle it by watching what I ate. But she decided I better start medication for it. Each morning I check it, it's been getting lower, this morning it was 70.

It may be later before I get back on the blog, then again, I may wait until tomorrow to post something. I won't know the results of the x-ray for at least a week, my doctor is taking a vacation this coming week.

Our Granddaughter's 8th. grade class is leaving for their Washington DC trip tonight at 9pm, they will get home Friday around 6am. I hope they have nice weather, but it sounds like some snow and also rain, walking around DC sight seeing may not be that much fun. She also was chosen to lay a wreath on the Tomb of the unknown soldier. Anyone that wanted to write an essay about why they should be chosen could write one, and then the essay's were judged by teachers (I believe), not knowing who wrote them. Hers was chosen. Also the Ladies Auxiliary of the Amt Vets here in town, awarded the four people who's essays were chosen, $100.00 each to spend on their trip. Which I thought was very nice.

Hope you all have a wonderful day.

Out of all the bad weather days we have already had, you'd think the trip could be pleasantly warm.

Here's hoping the results are okay. I am not surprised about the sugar. It seems to be in everything. I had to cut it out as much as possible when fighting my cancer naturally and it was tough.
