2008

Received this from a dear friend,
wanted to share with all of you.

Happy New Year!
Where in the world did this year go
It seems it passed so fast
But here we are...2008
And 2007 is in the past!

A Toast

May peace and love fill the earth
May past sorrows fade away
May the New Year bring joy to all
On each and every day.

Happy New Year to everyone
I hope your dreams come true
A heart that's filled with happiness
Is the wish I wish for you!

We have certainly been here and done this before. How many times? Is this 52 or 53? It has been wonderful all these years with you.

Blessings for 2008.

What a nice friend to send you the beautiful Toast, Patty.

I love the picture of you and Abe in 1955! And then the more recent one. You are both blessed!

Have a wonderful new year with many more wonderful blessings!

Dear Patty ~~ What a lot of great things you have posted ~ the New Year Toast, the Circle of Friends and the Week after Christmas. Also the New Year quotes ~ thank you for sharing. Glad your blood tests were pretty good, just have to ease up on sweet things. What a lovely doctor to say after Jan 2nd. Do be careful, dear friend, we need you well. Have wondered about the bone scan, and as you say, they would be in touch if it was bad. I had quite a few years ago and none ever showed anything. (Wishing the same result for you) Thank you for your comments ~ only my youngest granddaughter is about an inch shorter than me - the rest have flown past. I have 2 Great G D who are only 4 and 8, but I very seldom see them. I am amazed that your mother is only 14 years older than you ~ she sure made an early start.
I hope you both and your daughter enjoy Dancing with the stars. I only watch those things on TV.
A very Happy, Healthy and joyful
year to you and yours in 2008.
Take care, Love, Merle.
