Best advice I've gotten. I think today I will do more listening than talking. Have a great day.

I like #18. And I remember Tony telling the kids #12. And #15 is just common sense, that so many don't understand.

One day a neighbor lady was visiting and complaining that her health insurance at work, was going to change to $2000, deductible. I said, 'well put $2000 dollars in your savings and when you need it you will have it.' She said: "I'm not going to put $2000 in my savings, what if I never need it?"
How do you argue with such logic?;))

Hello. My name is Lisa. This is my first visit to your blog. I read several posts on this page. Absolutely hilarious, yet so true. Now I know where to go for a good laugh! Keep up the great work.

Thanks for your visit to my blog Brookville Daily Photo this morning. I hope you enjoyed my post today showing the honey bee and the hollyhock flower.

I saw a special last night about the disappearance of honey bees and it is sad to think that most of the fruit, nuts and vegetables we eat would disappear with them. So governments are busy trying to find the culprit before it is too late and one huge problem is the use of insecticides.

Anyway, I wanted you to know I was here to repay your visit and comment with one of my own. Kind of like "Kilroy" was here... remember those drawings everyone used to make?

I enjoyed reading your blog post for today and I thought the photography was good too.

I agree with you about the Hollyhocks. They used to be everywhere when we were kids and some of the colors are just astonishing and so beautiful. I noticed Boy Myers has a peach colored one over there I want to get some seeds from.

You asked about the mills and if they all were inhabited. I think that many of them were, though some millers had a little house built next to the mill.
