Hot off my e-mail this morning

Do You Remember This Guy?

'Here's my strategy on the Cold War:We win, they lose.' - Ronald Reagan

'The most terrifying words in the English language are: I'm from the government and I'm here to help.' - Ronald Reagan

'The trouble with our liberal friends is not that they're ignorant; it's just that they know so much that isn't so.' - Ronald Reagan

'Of the four wars in my lifetime, none came about because the U.S. was too strong.'
-Ronald Reagan

'I have wondered at times about what the Ten Commandments would have looked like if Moses had run them through the U.S. Congress'.-Ronald Reagan

'The taxpayer: That's someone who works for the federal government but doesn't have to take the civil service examination.' - Ronald Reagan

'Government is like a baby: An alimentary canal with a big appetite at one end and no sense of responsibility at the other.' - Ronald Reagan

'It has been said that politics is the second oldest profession. I have learned that it bears a striking resemblance to the first.' - Ronald Reagan

'Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.' - Ronald Reagan

'No arsenal, or no weapon in the arsenals of the world, is as formidable as the will and moral courage of free men and women.' - Ronald Reagan

'If we ever forget that we're one nation under God, then we will be a nation gone under.'- Ronald Reagan

IF YOU AGREE, PLEASE FORWARD ...IF NOT,JUST DELETE.

I did not check this out on SNOPES, I'm assuming he made all of these statments. If he didn't, whoever did made a lot of sense in my opinion. But then you know what they say about opinions, they're like a**holes, everyone has one and they all stink.

This is one Republican I would vote for the second or third time. I wish he was still around.

I don't know if you have ever seen a Pileated Woodpecker but I posted one at My Birds Blog . It was the first one I have seen in 46 years.

Yep, I voted for him twice. I like those quotes no matter who said them.

Hope you have a good day. I will come to visit you again!

Good job with the wooden floors, Mrs. Lincoln! They sure look nice!

I remember the Reagan years, and when someone tried to shoot him in 1981. I was in France when it came on the news... Gosh, it now seems like a lifetime ago.

Patty, great list! Don't agree with them all - I'm a liberal you see! When I saw that you commented as "Old Lady Lincoln" I wondered if you were related to Abraham - not the 16th President of the U.S. but the excellent photographer from Brookville but then I saw your picture with Abe on your blog. You have a beautiful blog. Let's stay n touch!

I wouldn't doubt it at all that he said every one of those great quotes!

Aww, gee, well, how sweet of Ann to say that. My goodness, I am going to bed with a swelled head! lol.

Good night, Patty.
