A TOUGH OLD COWBOY FROM SOUTH TEXAS COUNSELED HIS GRANDSON THAT IF HE WANTED TO LIVE A LONG LIFE, THE SECRET WAS TO SPRINKLE A PINCH OF GUN POWDER ON HIS OATMEAL EVERY MORNING. THE GRANDSON DID SO RELIGIOUSLY TO THE AGE OF 103 WHEN HE FINALLY DIED.
HE LEFT BEHIND 14 CHILDREN, 30 GRANDCHILDREN, 45 GREAT-GRAND-CHILDREN, 25 GREAT-GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN, AND A 15-FOOT-HOLE WHERE THE CREMATORIUM USED TO BE.

We did get a pinch of rain last night and when I heard it on the roof I thought I was dreaming.
Oh, and I like this post. I wonder what they do find in the ashes when the cremate people?
Maybe you posted it before, but this old mind doesn't remember. So, if was quite funny to me. I was lol when I read "a 15-foot-hole where the crematorium used to be." I agree with you about Fall, where did the Summer go? I guess it fell into Fall;)
