One thing you learn as a teacher of reading is that each person's place and plight in the world determines how they view the written word that they are reading. This morning I found myself looking at these quotes thru the lens of the Bush administration years and going again and again: "Boy, that sure fits the situation."
What great thoughts! I'm stealing one for my quote of the week...hope that's alright! :)
A lot of good ones here. Inspirational and thought-provoking.
Wishing you a great day!
I love quotes! Thanks for sharing these! I hope you are having a lovely week!
Patty,
As you already know I like quotes and things such as these. So I enjoyed reading these this morning.
Beautiful thoughts Patty. We should remember them always. Especially in these difficult times. Thanks Patty for sharing this with us!
Great quotes, Patty. My favorites are the two by Mark Twain and the Yiddish proverb.
Have a good night!
