WILL BE RUNNING INTO THE HOSPITAL THIS MORNING

WILL LET EVERYONE KNOW WHAT I FIND OUT

When I talked with Abe last evening, he said the thoracic surgeon had been in to see him. He saw him yesterday rather then today. He does not want to do surgery at this time. Apparently they have some technique there they put something into the lung to help patch it?? He would like to try that first. Abe wasn't feeling too well last evening, he was still nauseated from the pain medication they had given him. Since he had not eaten anything, he was having the dry heaves. Then he couldn't use the bathroom, so they inserted a catheter. I think he was so up tight from the not being able to breathe that his whole body just reacted. He said it felt like he was being smothered and I know that is a very panicky feeling. I haven't called him yet this morning. Wanted him to get a good nights sleep. Well keep you all posted.

I just called him mom and he sounded horrible...and said he was having a lot of pain and difficulty breathing again. I asked him if he told the nurse and he said yes...that they had been in there working on him. I tried to call you again on your cell but you must have had it turned off.

I hate that he has had to go through this! I am reading backwards...present to past posts....and now that he has that treatment, it looks like he is doing better. I am so glad! I know you are relieved, too! Nice that you have your daughters close by....what would we do without our kids?

Still praying for Abe a full recovery and coming home soon. Tell him the leftovers are better, anyhow. We always enjoy it more the second day...maybe it's because all the work is over with.
