I received this Tag Game from my friend in Holland

A Tagging Game
This morning I was tagged by , Wil who invited me to take part in this game.

Here are the rules of the game:
Link to the person who tagged you
(DONE)

Share six random things about yourself
1. I was born two months early, to a young woman (girl) who wasn't quite 14, she turned 14 in Dec., I arrived in Oct. Weighing in at around 4 pounds, born at home, so to keep me warm, they kept me in a big shoe box on the oven door.

2. I am the oldest of four children, one sister who died ( at the age of 42) from breast cancer, two brothers, one is 8 years younger than myself, and one is 11 years younger than me. Myself, I am a two time breast cancer survivor.

3. Had to have surgery when I was 16, doctors said if everything had developed properly when I was born, it would have been my twin. Had to have one ovary and tube removed. Apparently the one left was strong, we had five children later.

4. Met my husband after not seeing him for some time, he was home on an emergency leave, his Father was ill. We dated 12 days and he gave me a diamond. In fact it happened on April Fool's Day.

5. We ran our own business for a while, then I worked in the Adult Education Office at our local Vocational School for 17 years.

6. This coming July 12, we'll have been married 54 years. That sounds like a long time, but it really has gone by pretty quickly.

I'm suppose to pick six people and link them here. I just took part in an Award blog yesterday, and since it is so hard to pick from all I like to read, I am going to leave this space blank. Anyone that wants to take part in the Tag Game is more then welcome to. Again, thank you Wil.

Oh my goodness on the oven door....Can you imagine. I guess she was pretty smart, apparently it worked!
They would have you for child abuse these days if you even thought about doing that...

I think this is the perfect way to do these things. But I don't like them.

I would play, but I don't have 6 things that interesting! Yours are very cool! You were one tough little baby, to be born so early, at home. My first babies were born 5 or 6 weeks early, and they ended up in the NICU!

54 years of marriage is amazing. I look over at your photo and I think you can't be but 54 years of age in the first place! The "oven door" story is amazing. So much has changed...

Thanks for sharing your life, Patty. You've had an interesting life with a great husband and children! Great idea to mention 8 people who are worth while visiting.

Some interesting facts about you! I keep picturing a shoebox in my mind! I can remember a lady in our little town having a baby back when I was about 6 years ago, and his head wasn't any bigger than a small orange! He wasn't 5 pounds.

And 54 years...WOW! You had a whirlwind courtship! True love doesn't need much time, does it? You and Abe are the ideal couple...an inspiration to so many!

Love you!
