BUSY, BUSY, BUSY

I'm pooped
First off, changed sheets on Abe's bed, and the tubing on his machine he uses at night to help him breath better. Fixed him a bite of breakfast and got myself ready and ran to the bank, post office and the town drop off place with a bag of trimmings. Went past McDonald's and picked up a cup of decaf for my husband.

Came back home, found Abe had already gone out to start working on the shed. We found we had some damage from rain getting into the wood under the door. I helped for a few minutes, then mowed the backyard. Stopped and had a bite of lunch, back out to work some more. We finally got as much finished as we could today on the shed, got back into the house around 4 or later.

Still had not checked my e-mail or looked at anyone's blogs. Filled the washer, to do up the sheets, now there's a load of towels running. By the way, has anyone ever filled the washer, put the lid down, while it's filling, and go off to do something else, then realize the machine has stopped, and you go to take out the clothes and found out you never put any in to begin with? I've only done that once, but once was enough.

Fixed a bite of supper, did up the dishes from all day and finally got out to the computer at 7pm. Got through my e-mails, read the Dayton Daily News on line, checking to see who may have passed away. My name wasn't there, so guess I'm safe for another day. Played my turn of Scrabble with a friend and started looking at blogs, and realized just how tired I am. So I'm going to take out the sheets, fold them, put the towels in the dryer and watch some TV.

If anyone is interested in what our backyard looks like, please go here to my husband's blog and you can see part of it. Will try to catch up on blogs tomorrow. Good night all, sleep well.

You must be taking some really good vitamins to be able to get all that accomplished in one day! Whew....that is a lot of activity!

Oh Patty, I'm exhausted just reading your busy day. My goodness one would think you were 30 the rate you go.

Don has not felt well for a couple of days, so we have a doctors appt. tomorrow at 1:45 PM to check his med, and blood pressure. He's been keeping a log, and we will share that with the doctor.

My followup appt. is Wednesday. I never got you emailed, but both my procedures have been called lumpectomies. If the MRI was correct... and I have to think it was... there will be no more surgery, and I can get on with the Radiation. I will keep you posted after my doctors appt. on Wed.

Love and Hugs
Go to bed, dear woman... you deserve it...

It isn't easy is it, trying to get everything done that needs doing and then some. I find if I don't get to the computer first thing in the morning, like 5 am..... I might not get the chance again that day. Today, I have to get to the doctors at 9 am, and it is shop day at the main store. By the time I get back it will be lunchtime,. The hours just slip away. It is just after 6 am now, so bath time and breakfast...
The thing is it takes twice as long to do half as much, as I used to do.
God's blessing Patty and to Abe too, I love his blogs.

Hi Patty - Thanks for your visits to my blog. Such a nice post this is - thanks for sharing! The washing machine story sounds so familiar - the other day my husband thought he was putting it off - when he actually started the whole cycle again!
Take care of yourself.
Luv and a hug
Corinne

Sounds like one of my days.
I/We need a vacation. Somewhere with sand and sunshine. Oh, and a rolling surf would be nice.
What do ya say?

I am pooped out from all the work you did and I didn't lift a finger, I don't know how you get all your energy.
