Received from my youngest Brother

Drink, Steal, Swear and Lie
I met this guy while I was in Albuquerque and he has a motto he lives by everyday. He said listen carefully and live by these 4 rules: Drink, Steal, Swear, & Lie.

I was shaking my head 'no', but he then told me to listen while he explained his four rules. So here they are:

1.. "Drink" from the "everlasting cup" every day.
2.. "Steal" a moment to help someone that is in worse shape than you are.
3.. "Swear" that you will be a better person today than yesterday.
4.. And last, but not least, when you "lie" down at night thank God/HP you live in America and have freedom.

I am not as good as I should be, I am not as good as I could be...but THANK GOD I am better than I used to be!

'Be kinder than necessary , for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.'

Oh so true Patty. reminds me a few lines from a poem I vaguely recall.

'I expect to pass through this world but once; any good thing therefore that I can do, or any kindness that I can show to any fellow-creature, let me do it now; let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.'

This is true, we all have our personal battles we have to deal with. Very nice post as usual, thank you for coming by.

Okay, I'm convinced, drinking, stealing, swearing and lieying are the way to go!

Hope the reunion was great fun, and we'll hear more about it soon.

Interesting way of putting things.
Kinda like saying okay, if you want to be bad, fine, but do it in a good way.
