I hope I never get this bad.

Senioritis...

Two elderly gentlemen from a retirement center were sitting on a bench under a tree when one turns to the other and says: "Slim, I'm 83 years old now and I'm just full of aches and pains. I know you're about my age. How do you feel?"

Slim says, "I feel just like a newborn baby."

"Really!? Like a newborn baby!?"

"Yep. No hair, no teeth, and I think I just wet my pants.

Hi Patty ~~ Let's hope we all survive this humility.
Thanks for your comments and I am glad you liked the Hug Certicate
poem. I don't drink either, but like you, love chocolate too.
Sorry you had such a busy day, fixing the shed and mowing your very nice looking back yard. No wonder you are tired. I do hope you had a good sleep to let your body recover.
Take care, Love, Merle.

One of the woe's of reaching some sort of grand age, you have no control over what's happening to you.

Hahaha, no wonder he feels like a newborn baby!

Sounds like you have a pretty great 4th planned. All that food, all the family, celebrating all the birthdays, plus Independence Day, what more could one ask for?

Have a great evening. Don't work too hard with all the preparations.

Ha, ha... My first laugh today! Thanks Patty! Good luck with repairing the shed! It's sweltering here, so that would be no job for me at the moment!
