He might have a point.

Italian Fathers and Grandfathers

Why Italian Fathers and Grandfathers pass their handguns down through the family

An old Italian Mafia Don is dying. He calls his grandson to his bedside. "Guido, I wanna you lissina me.. I wanna you to take-a my chrome plated .38 revolver so you will always remember me."

"But grandpa, I really don't like guns. How about you leave me your Rolex watch instead?"

"You lissina me, boy. Somma day you gonna be runna DA business, you gonna have a beautiful wife, lotsa money, a big-a home and maybe a couple of bambinos "

"Somma day you gonna come-a home and maybe finda your wife inna bed with another man..

"Whatta you gonna do then? Point to your watch and say, 'Time's Up'?"

Oh, how funny Patty. I'm going to have to send my Italian friend Joyce to your blog since she just became a Italian grandparent for the first time two weeks ago.

Hope Abe is enjoying his vacation or hiatus. Here's a suggestion. Take Abe to see that Julia and Julie movie. Patty you will enjoy Julia Child's cooking and Abe will enjoy Julie's blogging adventures. Jack and I went to see it yesterday on senior discount Wednesday.

Take care and have a great weekend.

P.S. Hope your brother who lost his wife is coping and getting on with life.

Yes, I had a good laugh at the punch line. Thanks Patty. I did a post on Julie and Julia. I agree with Joann it would be a great movie for you and Abe. I went with a friend but I am going to see it again with Gregg in a week or so.
