Pretty clever Doc

"The Harley Mechanic and the Cardiologist"

A mechanic was removing a cylinder-head from the motor of a Harley motorcycle when he spotted a well-known cardiologist in his shop. The cardiologist was there waiting for the service manager to come and take a look at his bike when the mechanic shouted across the Garage. "Hey, Doc, want to take a look at this?"

The cardiologist, a bit surprised, walked over to where the mechanic was working on the motorcycle.

The mechanic straightened up, wiped his hands on a rag and ask, "So Doc, look at this engine. I open its' heart, take the valves out, repair any damage, and then put them back in, and when I finish, it works just like new. So how come I make $39,675 a year and you get the really big bucks ($1,695,759) when you and I are doing basically the same work?"

The cardiologist paused, smiled and leaned over, then whispered to the mechanic...

"Try doing it with the engine running."

Another good one, Patty. My rich cardiologist earns every penny.

This is so true. Cardiologits have a life in their hands. There is a big distance between a car engine and a heart. They both make things work properly, but the "repairment" is quite different.

No truer words spoken, but they both reach the same goal. I am very thankful to my heart doctor. Hope you are having a nice week.

Well I'm not so sure about that. Don't they have the by pass machines switched on?

The time to qualify is much longer though.

Dear Patty ~~ I have enjoyed all your posts once again. You always have great jokes and info, thanks.
I removed the anonymous comment as I
had no idea what was meant. Glad you liked my family photos and yes Joh is sure like his Dad.
And glad you liked Mother Teresa's quote about the most terrible
poverty is lonliness and feeling
unloved. How awful that would be.
She was a wonderful and wise lady.
Take care, my friend, Love, Merle.
