Questions Which Answer Themselves

Is that a cul-de-sac?
No way.

What's a novel?
Well, you see, it's kind of a long story.

All the time.

What is a distraction?
A distraction is...oh, look! A bird.

What does ambiguous mean?
Could mean anything, I guess.

Do you worship regularly?
Yes. Religiously.

What is perception?
What's it to you?

What does condescending mean?
Sit down and I'll explain it to you in simple terms you can understand.

Are you an agnostic?
I don't believe so.

How do you feel about hyperbole?
Super fantastic!

So you think God is a paradox?
Well, he is and he isn't.

What does paranoid mean?
Why do you ask? Say, who sent you anyway?

This one is very recognizable:

What does paranoid mean?
Why do you ask? Say, who sent you anyway?
When my husband was still alive and healthy, I worked once a fortnight in an Oxfam shop and smiled at a customer's teenage daughter. She asked angrily: "Why are you smiling at me???" I stammered something like "Oh, just because..."

Wil, do you suppose no one ever smiled at the girl? Or was she just going through a rebellious stage? Sad to think someone would ask a question like that, just because someone would smile at them. Most people enjoy a smile. I know I do.
