This is a good one. Read it and then think about it :)
A minister told his congregation, "Next week I plan to preach about the sin of lying. To help you understand my sermon, I want you all to read Mark 17."
The following Sunday, as he prepared to deliver his sermon, the minister asked for a show of hands. He wanted to know how many had read Mark 17. Every hand went up.
The minister smiled and said, "Mark has only sixteen chapters. I will now proceed with my sermon on the sin of lying."

That's a Good one.
On a serious note to this, I do think lying is one of the worst sins and people make so little of it. When I was teaching, lies just rolled off the kids' tongues. Then there are the politicians
what role models they are!! Sorry, I know this is a lighthearted blog -- and I wouldn't have been one to raise my hand because I KNOW there are only 16 chapters in Mark. Have a happy week.
That is a good one. A tricky question and nobody bothered to look.
Good one and I bet he had their attention now.
