MRI

Having one done this morning. I can't remember ever having one before. Just hope I don't feel PANIC when shoved into that little tube. I'm arriving there with no hearing aids, no teeth and no jewelry. I think that takes care of everything. Our one daughter asked if I had any clips in my breast from the surgeries I've had in the past, so I called and found out, no there were no clips left there. So after breakfast, Becky and I will be off. They said it will take about 45 mins. I hope my back can stand laying down on a flat surface that long. The MRI is for the back.

Hope the MRI goes okay. I always asked for a blind fold because the first one when the noise got up around my head, I automaticly opened my eyes and went into instance panic attack. Hope they find the problem but my surgeon did not find mine until he x ray me in a fetal position on my side, all the flat imagines never showed that L5 was not attached but the fetal position did. Good luck my friend and hopefully you will keep those eyes closed. Peace be with you.

Wishing you well. I hope that it will result in the help you are looking for.

I must have missed something I didn't know you were having trouble with your back. How long have you been dealing with this?

I always have a cloth over my face, then if I open my eyes I don't see anything.
I also tell myself I'm going to take a nap, and since I'm a great nap taker it helps. Did they play any music for you? That really helps. I'm sorry you had such a bad experience. This is cold comfort I know, but I'd rather have an MRI than go to the dentist which is where I have to go tomorrow. It always put my jaw out of place. Then my face aches for days. AAAh this growing old....
