A small chuckle

What's your age?
A cop was patrolling late at night in a well-known necking spot when he sees a couple in a car, with the interior light brightly glowing.

Approaching the car to get a closer look, he sees a young man behind the wheel, reading a computer magazine and a young woman in the rear seat... knitting.

Puzzled by this surprising situation, the cop walks to the car and gently raps on the driver's window.

The young man lowers his window. "Uh, yes, officer?"

The cop says: "What are you doing?"

The young man says: "Well Officer, I'm reading a magazine."

Pointing towards the young woman in the back seat the cop says: "And her, what is she doing?"

The young man shrugs: "Sir, I believe she's knitting a pullover sweater."

Now, the cop is totally confused. A young couple, alone, in a car, at night in 'Lover's Lane'... and nothing obscene is happening!

The cop asks: "What's your age, young man?"

The young man says "I'm 22, sir."

The cop asks: "And her...what's her age?"

The young man looks at his watch and replies: "She'll be 18 in 11 minutes

Hehe, funny!

Patty,I guess the rainy, stormy weather has been everywhere. Hope you got the grass cut. And as for the little mystery animal, you and Abe were both right. It is a woodchuck, but is more commonly known as a groundhog.

Finally, we will have a storm free night tonight. Last night we were under a tornado watch until 3 AM! I was scared stiff!

Have a good night.

Those punch lines are always a kicker. I'm still chuckling. Thanks for stopping by and to answer your question, the wedding is on the 27th. Not long to go now.

Patty, Jack Aidan would have stayed in that moonbounce until the cows came home! And that's a funny lovers' lane story. But you and Abe never did anything like that, right! LOL!

Dear Patty ~~ Good joke, talk about watching the time. Thanks for your comments and the lady getting weighed was funny, and her husband
remarked. I think Irena should have won the Peace Prize. Global warming
is not about Peace. Glad you like the pic of John. I worry about you working too hard my friend, with mowing, shopping and cooking etc.
I hope you get enough rest. Take care
and sleep well. Love, Merle.

Good one, Patty.
But I haven't heard of many that would wait that eleven minutes.
