Vampire/Bat joke

I Vant To Suck Your Blood...

A vampire bat came flapping in from the night covered in fresh blood and parked himself on the roof of the cave to get some sleep.

Pretty soon all the other bats smelled the blood and began hassling him about where he got it.

He told them to go away and let him get some sleep but they persisted until finally he gave in.

"OK, follow me" he said and flew out of the cave with hundreds of bats behind him.

Down through the valley they went, across a river and into a forest full of trees.

Finally he slowed down and all the other bats excitedly milled around him.

"Now, do you see that tree over there?" he asked.

"Yes, Yes, Yes!" the bats all screamed in a frenzy.

"Good" said the bat, "Because I sure as heck didn`t!"
P.S. This is for my husband, because I just know he's going to say, I don't get it. Well sweetie read the last line again and think about it. Ok, apparently he hit the tree and it was his own blood all over him.

More than the joke, I found your explanation for Abe funny.

Hope you both have a good Sunday!

Hi Patty ~~ Great joke and glad a lot of us got it first time.
My ear is better but I will keep in mind wearing something on my head when it is very cold. Thanks for that.

Glad you enjoyed the jokes, especially the Boots one. Hope you had some luck with the lottery ticket. I don't like humidity either. Dry heat is bearable. We don't get a lot of humidity here.

I hope you have a great week ahead.
Take care, Lov
